Advisory Board Members - Cheryl Little

Cheryl Little is a Licensed Practical Nurse and has been in Health Care for 14 years. Prior to becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse she had her own Catering business; she managed a Photography business. During her nursing career she was an instructor for Vancouver Career College, teaching the Nurse Assistant Certificate Program. Cheryl also held the position of Team Leader at the local Home Support agency where she lives, for 7 years; she was responsible for 200 clients and approximately 70 Community Health Workers. This position included duties related to Care plans, scheduling and evaluation processes for both clients and staff. This experience has been a huge asset to her for her current position which is LPN Team Leader at Cascade Manor Assisted Living in Chilliwack.
She has been the primary person involved with the BCAL program and plays a large part in the day to day operations. One of the projects she is currently involved with is the Chilliwack Hospice Society Strategic Planning group in preparation for the opening of the 10 Hospice beds that was awarded to the Cascades through the Fraser Health Authority. She is very passionate about Hospice as she has had the privilege of being the primary caregiver to her son and father during their last days. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her Husband of 16 years, her 15 year old daughter and being a part of the leadership team for the Youth Group in her Church.
