Better Care Assisted Living (BCAL) Software Inc. is a Canadian based company specifically designed to address the needs of the assisted living industry. The company’s software program (BCAL) was first developed in 1999. Through years of regional, operator and user feedback combined with clinical and technical testing and revisions, BCAL has developed into the complete community care solution that it is today.

In order to provide further guidance to BCAL Software, an Advisory Board was formed in late 2006.

BCAL is currently being used in 54 locations across Alberta and British Columbia, Canada.
